My journey toward creating Vita Holistic Training has been shaped by both personal challenges and a life lived across diverse cultures. I have a certification in personal training with specialization in team sports and elite athletics; besides that I have played elite handball  myself in various clubs; through this, I have developed discipline, resilience, and a profound understanding of both mental and physical strength. At the same time, I have studied philosophy in the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) with a focus on Eastern traditions—including yoga—exploring meditation, mindfulness, balance, and self-awareness.

Originally from Argentina, my handball career have taken me to live in several countries, including Italy, Spain, Germany, Slovenia and now the Faroe Islands. Encountering different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life has deepened my understanding of people and the universal challenges we all face.

Like many others, I have navigated difficult and dark periods in my life—times marked by doubt, inner struggles, trauma, and depressive thoughts. Through a combination of physical training, meditation, psychological insight, and meaningful community, I found my way back to the light. This journey became the foundation for the philosophy behind Vita Holistic Training.

For me, the time has come to help others overcome inner barriers, navigate depressive thoughts, understand and manage the ego, unlock our limitless potential, and create a life defined by clarity, strength, and purpose.

Vita Retreat is not merely something I teach—it is something I live.

At VITA Holistic Training, I oversee the physical and meditative pillars, while Sandra and I together manage the social pillar.

The VITA Method

The VITA Method is built on a simple idea: physical, psychological and social well-being are interconnected.

The method brings together four pillars — Vitality, Introspection, Togetherness and Awareness — representing physical training, psychology and self-reflection, social connection, and meditative awareness.

Rather than treating these areas separately, VITA uses an integrative approach. You can begin with the pillar that best reflects your current needs, while the broader method provides a framework for working with the whole.

The method combines evidence-informed practices with reflective and contemplative approaches, creating a flexible framework for sustainable development, well-being and performance.

— Sandra Gabriela Gonzalez —

From an early age, I developed a deep curiosity about the world through travel, which sparked an enduring interest in diverse cultures and natural landscapes. Born in Argentina, I spent many years exploring my home country and immersing myself in its rich cultural heritage. Since then, nature, culture, and human connection have remained constant sources of beauty and inspiration in my life.

Experiencing a place as a visitor is fundamentally different from building a life there. Beyond my native country, I have lived in Spain, Italy, the UK, the USA, and—for over twenty years now—Denmark. In each of these countries, I have studied, worked, and navigated the inevitable challenges that come with adapting to a new environment. These challenges are neither few nor easy, yet they have been deeply formative.

Through these experiences, I have come to understand that true stability arises from reconnecting with our own nature—our inner potential and our innate capacity to grow and flourish. While this journey can at times feel complex or uncertain, at its core, it is a simple process requiring self-awareness, time, and a compassionate commitment to oneself.

I earned my degree in clinical psychology 30 years ago and have since worked with countless individuals, supporting them in their inner work. I also spent 10 years at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), where I further deepened my professional experience. Additionally, I established and ran two private practices—one in Copenhagen and one in Odense—supporting people in their personal development. Expressing emotions, caring for the body and health, connecting with nature, and cultivating creativity are essential pillars of this process. Today, I continue my own journey while accompanying others who seek to free themselves from unnecessary suffering and embrace a more present, meaningful, and fully lived life.

At VITA holistic training, I handle the psychological pillar, and together with Constantino, the social pillar
